Guidelines

Your main contact is Genny on 883341.

Centre Stage aims to see that every pupil reaches their highest potential. We believe that to gain real benefits you need to :

  • Commit yourself to full attendance. If absence is unavoidable, ring 883341 so that we know that you can't come on that occasion.
  • Be on time - it's a good professional attitude to develop and respects others.
  • Dress appropriately. You are not expected to have full dance-wear, but you do need to wear clothes that allow you to move freely, so please not jeans or tight skirts. For your own safety please wear dance shoes if you have them or trainers.
  • Wear your hair off your face. It looks more professional and whenever you perform you express with your face. We need to see it.

You will need to bring drinks and most people like to bring something to eat at breaktimes.

Whenever possible end-of-term shows will be rehearsed in classtimes, but occasionally extra work is needed to see that productions are of the highest standard. If that happens there will be no extra cost and we will give as much notice as possible. On the rare occasions that this happens we will expect full attendance.

We value ALL our students and in turn we expect students to value and respect each other. The work is fun and enjoyable but is focussed and needs a disciplined attitude.
